Homeless Outreach
Baba's Helping Hands: Homeless Outreach is a humble offering of compassion and seva to those walking the hardest paths.
Rooted deeply in Baba's boundless love and the fierce devotion of Hanuman, our program moves through sacred service, bringing warmth, care, and dignity to our unhoused brothers and sisters.
We provide SANKATMOCHANKITS (winter or summer essentials) and food to those in need here in Colorado Springs and Denver.
WINTER 2026 UPDATE: Because of your generosity, compassion, and willingness to serve, 162 cold weather care kits carrying essential winter gear and supplies were lovingly assembled and distributed this season — meaning 162 sweet souls were met with warmth, care, protection, and dignity during the coldest months of the year. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
NKB Bhakti Dham as a non-profit is doing our best to impact our local community and your support makes a difference.
Each kit carries more than supplies; it carries the vibration of care, remembrance, and sacred connection—a reminder that no soul is ever alone, and that Baba's love flows through every helping hand.
As we tenderly build trust with local encampments to ensure safe and respectful service, we invite kind hearts everywhere to join us in this outreach. Our friends near and far may take part in the seva, sending their blessings and love through these tangible offerings.
Together, through this humble work, we weave a tapestry of grace and kindness—lighting a soft flame of hope in the lives of those who need it most.
WINTER 2026 IMPACT
With deepest gratitude and love,
As we move out of the winter season, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact the Sankat Mochan Kits have had on our community this year.
Because of your generosity, compassion, and willingness to serve, 162 cold weather care kits carrying essential winter gear and supplies were lovingly assembled and distributed this season — meaning 162 sweet souls were met with warmth, care, protection, and dignity during the coldest months of the year.
What made this offering especially powerful was the involvement of the students of Community Prep High School, who helped build these kits with their own hands and hearts. Through this experience, they were able to step into seva in a real and tangible way, learning that even the smallest acts of kindness can become sacred offerings when done with love.
This season also reminded us how expansive Baba’s family truly is. Through the loving support of fellow devotee Gauri and her small business, Bhakti Bread, in California, alongside sponsors and supporters from across the country — and even different parts of the world — this seva was able to stretch far beyond state lines, showing us that when offerings are made with devotion, compassion travels beautifully across distance. What began as a local effort became something uplifted by hearts from many places, all united through Bhakti, service, and love.
Watching so many hearts come together — students, families, supporters, volunteers, and devotees near and far — has been one of the most humbling parts of this journey. These kits became more than supplies; they became reminders that nobody is unseen, forgotten, or unworthy of care.
Even for those who may feel unable or uncalled to sponsor kits directly, please know that every kind thought, prayer, well wish, and act of compassion offered toward this mission carries immense power. Love itself is part of the seva.
Thank you for walking beside us in this mission.
Thank you for helping us keep our neighbors warm.
Thank you for proving that community, compassion, and devotion still have the power to transform lives.
In Love and Service,
Baba’s Helping Hands
Bhakti Dham
